What Sapling is
Sapling is a shared notebook for one child's growth, with a planner inside it. You tell it what your child did and said, in a few words or a voice note. It keeps the record, plans the next activities around what she is into, and shows every parent and caregiver the same picture.
Getting started
- Create an account in the app, add your child, and Sapling drafts a first plan from a short conversation.
- Invite the rest of the family from the Family screen. Anyone with your family code joins the same record, and every entry shows who wrote it.
- Each day, open Today. Each activity card explains what to do, why, what it builds on, what to watch for, and what to have ready.
- After an activity, tap Log it and say what happened. Or mark it done, partly done, or skipped.
- Prefer paper? Print the week, fill it in by hand, then photograph the pages and send them to Sapling in the thread. It reads them into the record.
Common questions
Can more than two people use it? Yes. Any number of parents, grandparents, or caregivers can join with the family code.
Where is the voice note stored? Only the text. The audio is not kept.
How do I delete my account? In the app, open Family and tap Delete account (on the web: Settings, then Delete account). It happens at once. If you are the last parent in the family, the whole record, photos included, is deleted with it. You can also email hello@sapling.day from your account address and we will do it within 30 days.
Does Sapling diagnose anything? No. It is not a clinical tool. It shows you what has been observed and when; your pediatrician is the right person for any concern.
